Made it home safe & sound. Took Claudia for a ride around the block immediatly after coming off the trailer. The trip was a resounding success. Am too tired to expound more now, but I will add more tomorrow. Cheers to all. -ted
Well here I am leaving to get the new baby inspected. I am writing this in possibly the last Starbucks (Chevy Chase, MD) that does NOT offer free wireless. So I will wait to upload later in the day. But, the ride this morning was VERY VERY nice. The car runs well and it is a beautiful day. I have spent some time considering an identity plate for the 914. The 86 Carrera is tagged 'ECSTASY', the 97 Carrera 4S is tagged 'NIRVANA', and the 03 Harley Deuce is tagged 'BLISS.' There is a theme here, but the first thing that strikes me for the oldest in the stable is 'OLDLOVE.' Which I reserved on my visit the Motor Vehicle office on Thursday, May 10th.
